As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our organization's back-office operations. Your primary responsibility will be to handle credit-related inquiries and processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will be the bridge between our customers and the credit processing system, providing accurate and timely information and support.
  • Process and review credit applications, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness of customers and make informed decisions on credit approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related transactions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses regarding credit processes.
  • Collaborate with the customer care team to resolve complex credit-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze credit trends and patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain credit scoring models and systems for efficient decision-making.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes in credit processing.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts on credit processing procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure data privacy and security by adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in credit processing or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using credit scoring software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the BFSI industry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
