Job Summary:
Provides client and administrative support for the Commercial Credit Administration function. Performs financial and accounting review, reconciliation and reporting activities for assigned accounts. Collaborates with multiple teams in front line, analysis and support roles to accomplish required reviews and prevent negative client impact. Assists managers with process and procedures updates. Provides training as needed or requested from managers for other team members.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides client and administrative support for the Commercial Credit Administration function. Performs financial and accounting review, reconciliation and reporting activities for assigned accounts. Collaborates with multiple teams in front line, analysis and support roles to accomplish required reviews and prevent negative client impact. Assists managers with process and procedures updates. Provides training as needed or requested from managers for other team members.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Credit Administration team. Performs a variety of tasks independently that range from downloading and reviewing reports, filing, to following detailed instructions to complete more complex transactions. Provides teaching of task handling and processes to other team members.
- Reviews loan documents to ensure documentation is approved and complies with regulations and firm policy. Assists managers in keeping up with policy changes that impact review processes.
- Ensures all required credit review transactions are processed within the provided service level agreements. Monitors the process and identifies, reviews and resolves all delays, rejects, overrides or past due transactions.
- Performs file research and review to provide answers to client inquiries or directs questions to the appropriate team member or department for response. Assists managers in determining if research leads to process changes.
- Maintains department databases and systems. Performs data entry, downloads/extracts reports for daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting. May be asked to review reports for accuracy.
- Assists with the preparation of reporting packages for management and other external reporting agencies. Reviews reports and identifies discrepancies, variances or other transactions not consistent with the standard operating procedures.
- Reviews and maintains automated databases and systemic filing systems of client and transactional data to collect and provide information used for resolving client inquiries, rejected transactions, review overrides and correcting system errors. Assists less experienced team members with research.
- Maintains knowledge of current lending policies, procedures and regulations. Stays abreast of variations in laws across state boundaries. Completes all required training. Assists less experienced team members.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.
