Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Location: Denver, Colorado. This is currently an in-person position, with the firm working toward implementing a hybrid office policy in the future.
Note: Candidates must have an active Colorado Bar license, at least 2 years of Colorado criminal defense experience, and a clear history of practicing exclusively in criminal defense. Candidates must currently be practicing in Colorado; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

Job Description
- Represent clients in Colorado criminal defense matters from initial case evaluation through resolution.
- Develop and execute strategic defense plans tailored to each client's circumstances.
- Handle negotiations, hearings, motions, trials, and other criminal proceedings.
- Analyze evidence, conduct legal research, and prepare persuasive pleadings and arguments.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, compassionate legal guidance throughout their cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters.
- Evaluate potential immigration consequences of criminal matters when applicable.
- Maintain strong case management, documentation, and court-preparation practices.
- Build strong client relationships and, for experienced attorneys, participate in new-client consultations and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of Colorado criminal defense experience.
- Demonstrated experience practicing exclusively in criminal defense.
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, legal research, writing, and client-advocacy skills.
- Excellent judgment, communication, organization, and case-management abilities.
- Candidates must be currently located in Colorado and able to work in person in Denver.
