Center for Community Resources (CCR) - Greene County Crisis Services - is looking for a compassionate mental health professional. Crisis Intervention services include telephone, walk-in & mobile assessment, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services in Greene County.

The hours for this position are primarily daylight M-F 8:30AM - 4:30PM with some evenings but also includes a rotating on-call schedule for afterhours and weekends. The starting rate of pay is $21.54 an hour and $23.00 an hour for on call. On-call stipends include $400 for primary coverage. Milage reimbursement is applicable for all relative travel when conducting mobiles.


Position Summary: Provides mental health crisis intervention services to eligible consumers as defined by DPW Title 55 Code Chapter 5240.

Essential Functions

  • Provide Crisis Intervention through service lines of phone, walk-in, mobile, and text/chat.
  • Completion of safety assessments with NSPL assessment tool and safety planning.
  • Complete all reports and documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Facilitate service coordination with community services involved along with interagency resources.
  • Maintain quality standards.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Participates in continuous professional development.
  • May also include comprehensive Crisis Intervention and assessment through web-based (text/chat) services for individuals reaching out via The Unified Platform (988 Services) or ICarol (local services).
  • Depending upon site location, Interim Housing services and Crisis Stabilization/Residential services may also be included functions of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Walking, standing and stair climbing will be necessary in carrying out duties.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one year experience in mental health field required.

Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
