CRM Architect
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CRM Architect based in Canada.
This is a senior architecture role focused on designing and evolving enterprise-grade Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions. You will lead complex CRM implementations, integrations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives from end to end. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership across business, technology, and delivery teams. You will translate strategic business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing CRM architectures. You will also help shape governance, modernization, and adoption of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure capabilities. The environment is technology-driven, collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable value through customer experience transformation. This is a remote opportunity with an immediate need for an experienced professional authorized to work in Canada.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as the lead architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Design scalable, secure, and performance-optimized CRM solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service.
- Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive architectural designs, technical specifications, and solution blueprints.
- Lead solution configuration, custom development, workflow automation, Power Automate implementations, and data migration activities.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to developers, consultants, testers, and other delivery team members.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, leadership, and external vendors to align CRM solutions with strategic objectives.
- Establish governance and architectural standards for Dynamics 365 customizations and Power Platform components.
- Ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practices, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and performance expectations.
- Lead performance optimization, code reviews, technical quality assurance, and resolution of complex architectural issues.
- Monitor the Dynamics 365 product roadmap and recommend new capabilities that can improve business processes and customer experiences.
- Support project planning and budgeting activities in collaboration with leadership.
- Contribute to pre-sales and solutioning activities, including technical discussions and client-facing solution development, where applicable.
- Help delivery teams adopt effective CI/CD practices and maintain reliable deployment processes for CRM solutions.
- 8+ years of professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CE, including multiple full-cycle enterprise implementations.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Deep understanding of D365 data modeling, integration architecture, security models, APIs, and Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics SDK, JavaScript, C#, and custom plugin development.
- Experience implementing CI/CD processes for Dynamics 365 using Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, scalability, security, performance, and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor delivery teams, and make sound architectural decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to complex technical challenges.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or an equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience integrating CRM solutions with ERP platforms, such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Omnichannel, or Voice of the Customer is a plus.
- Experience in finance, healthcare, public sector, or other complex enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Previous pre-sales experience is preferred, although candidates with strong technical acumen may be supported in developing this capability.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; the position is currently available to candidates located in eligible Canadian provinces and territories.
- CAD $95,720–$150,417 base salary, depending on location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
