Cryptocurrency Intelligence Analyst

You will research and document cryptoasset service providers such as VASPs custodians OTC desks and exchanges. You will analyze blockchain and off-chain data identify risk indicators apply AML concepts profile entities and collaborate with intelligence analysts to link real-world entities to blockchain representations. You will also maintain automated pipelines for VASP coverage processes.

Responsibilities

• Research and document cryptoasset service providers
• Analyze blockchain and off-chain data to identify risk indicators
• Assess how crypto businesses operate within or outside global regulatory frameworks
• Apply AML concepts to profile entities accurately
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts to link real-world entities to blockchain representations
• Own a caseload of entity research and profile VASPs custodians OTC desks and exchanges
• Identify coverage and process improvements
• Design and maintain automated pipelines for VASP coverage processes

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in cryptoassets financial crime compliance or international finance
• Basic understanding of anti-money laundering concepts including beneficial ownership sanctions and enhanced due diligence
• Comfort navigating structured and unstructured data to assess business activity and risk profiles
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Familiarity with VASPs crypto exchanges or custodians
• Experience with open-source intelligence public company registries or financial regulatory research
• Knowledge of global AML frameworks or crypto regulation
