CSA Designer

JOB SUMMARY

HGA is hiring a Drafter to support client operations in Ruston, LA. The Drafter position performs a variety of drafting duties and prepares drawings in accordance with applicable drafting standards. This role supports a team of designers and/or engineers in producing deliverables for multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Department Design Supervisor and/or other designers. Learn and follow company and/or client drafting standards and design practices. Revise drawings in AutoCAD based on hand markups from the design team. Add or modify components to 3D models as directed. Revise bills of materials, schedules, lists, and other deliverables using Microsoft Word and Excel based on hand markups from the design team. Assist in preparing drawing packages, including plotting drawings, making copies, assembling drawing and document packages, and ensuring package completeness. Assist engineers and/or designers with field work as required to obtain measurements and sketches for design work. This work may involve climbing stairs and ladders to access elevated platforms. Assist with completing and maintaining drawing and equipment request forms. Read and interpret scale drawings and draw to scale. Complete work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail. Required Qualifications 2-year technical degree from an accredited university or trade school required. Previous drafting experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019 or newer with the ability to produce 2D drawings required. Experience with 3D modeling required. CADWorx experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word required. Must be within daily commuting distance of Ruston, LA. Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
