CSA QA/QC (Civil Structural & Arquitectural Quality Control and Assurance in Industrial Energy Projects)

Oversee quality control and assurance for civil, structural, and architectural work in industrial energy projects, ensuring compliance with standards like NOM and ASTM.
We are seeking a QA/QC professional with a comprehensive vision, a strong sense of responsibility, and proven technical experience in industrial civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) projects. This role is critical to ensuring that construction processes meet the highest quality standards and applicable regulations, delivering complete, safe, and contract-compliant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control plans in accordance with national and international standards (NOM, ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS).
- Verify materials, construction procedures, inspection protocols, and site records for civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Conduct daily technical inspections and generate photographic and documentary reports.
- Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
- Oversee the execution of technical inspections and testing activities for soil compaction, concrete, structural steel, welding, coatings, and architectural finishes.
- Participate actively in progress meetings and present technical and quality updates at the executive level.
- Coordinate the technical and documentary closeout of projects.
- Collaborate with planning, supervision, and PMO teams to ensure timely and complete deliverables.
- Represent the company in audits, inspections, or client and regulatory reviews
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as QA/QC in industrial projects, particularly in civil, structural, and architectural works for power, energy, or industrial facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and construction codes applicable to the Mexican industrial sector (NOM, ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS).
- Strong skills in documentation, record control, and executive-level reporting.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to perform under pressure with a results-driven mindset.
- Structured, organized, self-motivated, and capable of resolving complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in QA/QC, ISO 9001, CWI, NACE/AMPP, PMP, or related fields.
- Experience with digital quality control tools and collaborative platforms.
- Background or training in LEAN Construction, Scrum, or other agile methodologies.
- Previous experience with industrial energy, EPC, or CFE-related projects.
