For our Client, a leading international engineering contractor delivering large-scale Data Centre, life sciences and industrial projects across Europe, we are currently recruiting for the position of:

CSA Supervisor – Data Centre Project

Location: Milan, Italy
Work model: On-site Contract: Permanent Job

Your responsibilities

As CSA Supervisor, you will take responsibility for coordinating and supervising all Civil, Structural and Architectural works throughout the construction process—from project mobilisation through live delivery and final handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• supervising all Civil, Structural and Architectural activities on site;
• supporting the Project Manager in developing the construction programme and short-term lookahead schedules;
• coordinating site establishment, logistics and the organisation of work fronts;
• reviewing construction drawings, method statements and risk assessments;
• monitoring daily progress, productivity, workforce levels and compliance with the project programme;
• preparing and managing short-term programmes aligned with the master construction schedule;
• coordinating subcontractors and conducting regular site progress meetings;
• ensuring subcontractors deliver their assigned scope safely, on time and to the required quality standards;
• working closely with Mechanical and Electrical teams to avoid clashes, delays and disruption between disciplines;
• identifying site problems and driving practical solutions;
• maintaining accurate site records, including detailed daily site diaries;
• monitoring changes and variations in cooperation with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor;
• coordinating materials, plant and equipment deliveries;
• liaising with the client, subcontractors, supervisors and other project stakeholders;
• supporting the completion, testing, certification and handover of all CSA works.
• You will play an active leadership role in maintaining high HSEQ standards across the project.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• proven experience as a CSA Supervisor, Construction Supervisor or Site Supervisor on large-scale construction projects;
• previous Data Centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex project experience;
• strong knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural construction works;
• practical understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics and multidisciplinary coordination;
• experience supervising subcontractors and managing multiple work fronts;
• ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation;
• good understanding of HSEQ requirements, quality procedures and Inspection and Test Plans;
• strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills;
• the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international project environment;
• good command of English, enabling effective communication on site;
• legal eligibility to work in Italy.

Previous experience delivering Data Centre projects will be a significant advantage.
