CSR/ Sales Assistant -Produce Industry

About the role

EXP Group is looking for a Sales Assistant to support our sales team with day-to-day account coordination, order processing, and customer follow-up. We're especially interested in candidates who have worked in the produce or fresh food industry, since pricing, availability, and customer needs change daily in this business.

What you'll do

• Support sales reps and account managers with daily account coordination
• Process and confirm customer orders; provide accurate pricing and availability information
• Prepare quotes and follow up with buyers on open opportunities
• Coordinate with logistics/shipping on order status, lead times, and delivery issues
• Track open orders, backorders, and shipment schedules, and keep customers updated
• Maintain accurate customer and pricing records in our order/CRM system
• Support new customer account onboarding
• Respond to customer inquiries about products, orders, and account status

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or order management required
• Experience in the produce or fresh food distribution industry strongly preferred
• Fluent English required, both written and spoken; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Able to work Central Time business hours
• Experience with Famous Software a plus
• Comfortable with CRM, order-entry, or ERP systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple accounts and orders at once
