Job Description:

CT Technologist, Full-Time Days

Location: South Overland Park

Responsible for performing CT imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: 36 hours a week (3-12s)

Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 0800-1830

No weekends

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.

  • Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.

  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.

  • Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.

  • Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds

  • Knowledge of CT procedures

  • Knowledge of CT scanners

  • Ability to learn and grow with new technology

  • Customer Service skills

Education:

  • Associate [Preferred]

  • Bachelor's [Preferred]

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of CT training program [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
