CT Technologist
Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Full Time, Rotate
The CT Technologist performs duties directly involved with producing images to detect pathology. Operates equipment safely, maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, the medical staff, and patients.
1. Technical Skills
- a. Applies knowledge and skills necessary to perform all functions of the job including technical competence in the field.
- b. Demonstrates self motivation in performing job duties.
- c. Follows department policy, and procedures to perform all job functions.
2. Patient/Family Education
- a. Explains procedures to patients and family, and demonstrates sensitivity with respect to the family and/or significant other as an individual family unit.
- b. Provide for privacy of the patients
3. Equipment Maintenance
- a. Operates all equipment in a safe and effective manner according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
4. Resource Management
- a. Serves as a resource person and assists in the orientation of new associates regarding compliance with imaging specific policies and procedures.
5. Documentation / Regulatory Compliance
- a. Adheres to the Radiology compliance of the JCAHO, MQSA, NRC, and other mandated clinical certifying agencies standards
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certificate;
REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- FL State Technologist License; ARRT
- ARRT with CT Certification 6 months to obtain from hire date
- BLS approved by the American Heart Association
