About Comfort Temp

Comfort Temp HVAC & Plumbing is part of Comfort Temp Company, a growing organization built on dependable service, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing excellent work. We provide residential home services in the Gainesville market. In our other markets, Comfort Temp HVAC & Plumbing provides commercial service only. Our work is guided by four core values: Do what you say. Do what it takes. Walk with purpose. Do the right thing.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is the hands-on creative and technical marketer responsible for strengthening the visibility, reputation, and lead-generation performance of Comfort Temp HVAC & Plumbing. This person connects strong storytelling with disciplined execution across events, the website, search, paid media, social media optimization, email, newsletters, networking, and community engagement.
This role is dedicated specifically to Comfort Temp HVAC & Plumbing. The right person will learn the business deeply, understand the difference between our Gainesville home-services audience and our commercial-service audiences in other markets, and turn market opportunities into campaigns that generate measurable results. This is not a role that simply posts content or coordinates vendors. It requires someone who can build campaigns, inspect the data, test creative and messaging, improve conversion, and explain what is working and why.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically confident in the evolving Google ecosystem, enthusiastic about responsible AI use, and motivated by the connection between ideas, data, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own CTHP’s digital visibility by market. Manage and continuously improve the website, organic search performance, local SEO, Google Business Profile presence, service and location content, landing pages, directory consistency, and conversion paths. Keep Gainesville residential home-services content and lead pathways clearly separated from commercial-service content and lead pathways for all other markets. Coordinate technical changes with internal or external website resources and protect the accuracy of all customer-facing information.
  • Build and optimize paid campaigns. Plan, launch, manage, and improve campaigns across Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads where applicable, Meta, and other approved channels. Build separate strategies for Gainesville homeowners and for commercial decision-makers in other markets. Own audience and keyword strategy, ad copy, creative direction, budget pacing, landing-page alignment, conversion tracking, and vendor accountability.
  • Turn data into better decisions. Use analytics, advertising platforms, CRM and call-tracking data, and available business results to evaluate traffic, lead quality, booked opportunities, conversion rates, cost per lead, return on ad spend, organic visibility, and campaign performance. Build clear reporting, identify patterns, and use A/B testing to improve messaging, creative, offers, audiences, and landing pages.
  • Lead events and community presence. Plan and execute Gainesville home shows, homeowner and community events, sponsorships, and local partnerships, along with commercial networking opportunities, industry events, customer events, and relationship-building activities in other markets. Manage calendars, registrations, vendors, signage, promotional items, staffing plans, lead capture, post-event communication, and event-level results.
  • Create content and strengthen social performance. Develop and maintain a practical content calendar across organic social channels. Create, schedule, repurpose, and optimize content for two distinct audiences: Gainesville homeowners and commercial customers in other markets. Use platform-specific Social Media Optimization practices and coordinate photography and video when needed.
  • Own newsletters and email campaigns. Plan, write, design, distribute, and measure company newsletters and targeted email campaigns. Use audience segmentation, clear calls to action, subject-line testing, content testing, automation, and performance reporting to improve engagement and response.
  • Develop creative advertising that earns attention. Produce or direct compelling campaign concepts, ads, copy, offers, graphics, print pieces, presentations, event materials, and customer communications that are useful, memorable, brand-aligned, and designed for action.
  • Use AI as a responsible performance tool. Apply approved AI tools to research, ideation, content development, creative variations, campaign analysis, workflow automation, personalization, and content repurposing. Maintain human review, factual accuracy, customer privacy, brand voice, and sound judgment in every final output.
  • Support reputation and local trust. Help maintain review-generation workflows, listing accuracy, customer-facing responses, local partnerships, and community visibility. Escalate reputation concerns quickly and support a consistent, professional customer experience.
  • Connect marketing to operating reality. Partner with leadership, operations, sales, service, dispatch, and customer-facing teams so campaigns reflect available capacity, seasonal demand, service priorities, promotional commitments, and actual customer needs. Confirm that each campaign is appropriate for the market being targeted and never promotes residential home services outside the Gainesville market.
  • Manage the marketing operating rhythm. Maintain campaign calendars, project timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, brand assets, approvals, and performance reviews. Keep work moving, document decisions, and ensure commitments are completed on time.
  • Stay current and improve continuously. Monitor changes in search, AI-assisted discovery, advertising platforms, social behavior, competitors, customer expectations, and marketing technology. Translate meaningful changes into practical recommendations for CTHP.

What Success Looks Like

Specific performance targets will be established with leadership. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the following outcomes:
  • Qualified demand grows in the correct markets. Organic and paid programs generate Gainesville residential home-services leads while producing commercial-service opportunities in all other markets.
  • Conversion improves. Campaigns, landing pages, offers, and follow-up paths become more effective through regular testing and optimization.
  • Performance is visible. Leadership receives clear, consistent reporting that connects marketing activity to leads, opportunities, booked work, revenue influence, and return on investment whenever the underlying systems support that attribution.
  • Events produce value. Events and sponsorships are well executed, appropriately staffed, supported by reliable lead capture and follow-up, and reviewed for business impact.
  • Campaigns move with discipline. Marketing commitments launch on time, budgets are monitored, assets are accurate, and lessons from prior campaigns shape the next campaign.
  • The CTHP brand stays consistent. Customers encounter a clear, trustworthy, and recognizable message across digital, social, email, print, and in-person experiences.
  • AI and automation save time without lowering quality. New tools improve speed, insight, and creative range while final work remains accurate, secure, human-reviewed, and on brand.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on marketing experience. Two or more years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, campaign management, marketing coordination, or a closely related role. Equivalent demonstrated experience and results will be considered.
  • Search and website capability. Working knowledge of SEO, local SEO, website content management, landing pages, Google Business Profile, and conversion-focused web practices.
  • Paid media experience. Demonstrated experience creating, managing, or materially supporting Google and Meta advertising campaigns, including performance review and optimization.
  • Analytics fluency. Ability to work with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, advertising-platform reporting, CRM data, call tracking, dashboards, or comparable systems.
  • Testing mindset. Experience using A/B tests or structured experiments to improve advertisements, messaging, email, audiences, landing pages, or conversion performance.
  • Creative production ability. Strong writing, editing, visual judgment, and campaign-development skills. Candidates should be able to show examples of campaigns, advertisements, content, or results they helped create.
  • Project and event coordination. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, vendors, campaigns, events, approvals, and details without losing ownership or follow-through.
  • Responsible AI fluency. Comfort using generative AI and automation tools as part of a modern marketing workflow, with sound judgment around privacy, quality control, accuracy, and brand voice.
  • Communication and collaboration. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leaders, field teams, customer-facing employees, vendors, and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC, plumbing, or service-business experience. Marketing experience supporting residential home services, commercial services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, restoration, construction, or another service-based organization.
  • Market-segmented lead-generation experience. Experience creating different strategies for residential consumers and commercial decision-makers, including local search, multi-market marketing, reputation management, or call-driven campaigns.
  • Marketing technology experience. Experience with email marketing, CRM or marketing automation, call tracking, dashboard tools, content management systems, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar platforms.
  • Relevant credentials. Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, HubSpot, or other applicable certifications.
  • Visual content skills. Photography, short-form video, editing, or creative-direction experience.

Core Competencies

  • Creative judgment. Develops ideas that are original, useful, audience-aware, and appropriate for the brand.
  • Data ownership. Looks beyond activity counts to understand performance, quality, cost, conversion, and business impact.
  • Technical curiosity. Learns evolving platforms quickly and investigates how systems, tracking, search, and automation work.
  • Execution. Turns ideas into completed campaigns, events, assets, tests, and follow-up actions.
  • Attention to detail. Protects accuracy in offers, service information, links, tracking, budgets, dates, and customer communications.
  • Business partnership. Understands that marketing must support operational capacity, customer experience, revenue goals, and long-term trust.
  • Coachability and ownership. Welcomes feedback, learns from misses, shares results honestly, and improves the process rather than shifting blame.

Work Environment and Position Requirements

  • Work setting. This role includes office-based digital work, meetings, vendor coordination, and in-person community or company events.
  • Schedule flexibility. Occasional early-morning, evening, or weekend availability may be required for scheduled events, campaigns, or community activities.
  • Local travel. The role may require local or regional travel to Comfort Temp locations, events, community meetings, and partner sites.
  • Essential functions. The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including sustained computer-based work and participation in event setup and execution.
Equal Employment Opportunity. Comfort Temp is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to any status protected by applicable law. Qualified applicants and employees may request reasonable accommodation.
