CTM- Business Development Executive
Position Summary
The Business Development Executive drives revenue growth for Comfort Temp by identifying, cultivating, and converting new business opportunities across the mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC construction markets. This is a full-cycle, company-wide commercial role: the incumbent builds and maintains relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and property managers; generates and qualifies leads; and carries responsibility through proposal development, pricing coordination with Estimating, negotiation, and contract conversion. The role works closely with Marketing, Estimating, Operations, and leadership to help Comfort Temp pursue the right customers and projects, maintain accurate pipeline visibility, and add profitable backlog that can be executed across Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa. Success is measured both by disciplined pipeline-building activity and by closed, profitable revenue.

- Maintain current, accurate records for assigned accounts and opportunities, including revenue, backlog, margin, and relationship status.
- Provide leadership with reliable visibility into pipeline, forecast, and account activity.
Project Handoff
- Support contract negotiation and formal hand-off to Operations/Project Management upon award, ensuring a clean transition of client relationship and project expectations.
- Communicate negotiated scope, price, exclusions, assumptions, schedule, and customer commitments at handoff.
