**About Droppz** Droppz is building the next generation of cannabis commerce infrastructure. We provide retailers with a mobile-first platform for in app ordering, cashless payments, marketplace discovery, and delivery management while helping consumers access legal cannabis products through a seamless digital experience. Our platform is live on iOS and Android and currently launching in multiple regulated cannabis markets. We have established industry relationships, retailer partnerships, payment integrations, and a clear path toward scaling nationally as cannabis regulations continue to evolve. We're now looking for a Technical Co-Founder to help lead product development, scale the platform, and shape the long-term technology vision of the company. **The Opportunity** This is not a traditional engineering role. We're looking for a builder who wants to join as a true co-founder and own the technical direction of the business. You'll work directly with the CEO to define product strategy, architecture, team growth, and technical execution. You'll have significant influence over company decisions and receive meaningful equity ownership. **What You'll Do** Lead the technical vision and architecture of the Droppz platform Oversee mobile, web, backend, and API development Improve scalability, performance, and reliability Build and manage future engineering teams Evaluate and implement new technologies and AI tools Help define product roadmap and feature prioritization Participate in fundraising conversations and investor meetings when appropriate Collaborate closely with leadership on company strategy **What We're Looking For Must Have** Strong full-stack software engineering experience Experience building and scaling SaaS or marketplace platforms Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern web architectures Strong product mindset and startup mentality Ability to work independently and make technical decisions Excellent communication skills Mobile app development experience (iOS/Android) Marketplace, fintech, logistics, or delivery platform experience Startup founding or early-stage startup experience Experience leading engineering teams Interest in cannabis technology and emerging regulated markets **Why Join Droppz?** Significant founding equity opportunity Existing product already in market Established cannabis industry relationships Large and growing addressable market Opportunity to build a category-defining platform Direct impact on company direction and growth About the Founder Droppz is led by Jon Hofer, a cannabis industry veteran with over 15 years of experience helping launch and scale cannabis businesses.
