PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ITS serves all DSS program areas to fulfill their IT needs. To meet the business needs and ITS' workload, ITS is seeking qualified candidates in the areas of Database design, architecture, and development, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of various systems that ITS supports across DSS program areas.



Tasks & Duties
• Provide technical architecture designs for CURAM applications.
• Oversee Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Testing of Web-based applications and middleware using Java/J2EE technologies
• Extensive experience in Cúram development (CURAM V7), design and implementation that includes Cúram Rules framework, Evidence brokering, IEG and UIM, Façade layer and Modelling.
• Extensive Experience with Software Development Life Cycle, Software Development Methodologies (Agile, Iterative) and practices.
• Extensive experience working with PCI standards and Java security packages with encryption and decryption technologies and working experience with SSL and TLS.
• Extensive experience in developing Java Applications using J2EE components like Web Services, JAXB, EJB 3.0, JNDI, JSF, JMS, JPA, JSP, JSTL, JavaFX and Servlets
• Proficient in J2EE implemented technologies such as Struts Tiles, OSGi, JBI, Apache Camel, Apache ActiveMQ, Struts 1.x, Hibernate Validator, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Batch and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Web application components such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, Handlebars, EmberJS, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, Angular and NodeJS.
• Extensive experience in using various design patterns such as MVC (Model-View-Controller), Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, and Business Delegate in the development of multi-Tier distributed Applications
• Experienced in ORM concepts and Hibernate ORM tool and compilation tools like ANT, Maven and Gradle.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications using servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss and WebSphere and tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer for database development and interaction, using IDE’s such as Eclipse, Net Beans, IntelliJ and JDeveloper.
• Working knowledge in XML related technologies like XML, DTD, XSD, XSLT, X-PATH, XQUERY, XML parsing using SAX, DOM and JDOM
• Working Expertise with Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL and MySQL Database
• Expertise in Web Services using SOAP and REST.
• Good Experience in Core Java concepts such as Threads, Collections Framework, Java Reflection, Functional Interfaces and Streaming APIs.
• Has good experience in memory management and performance using JConsole and JProfiler and analysis of heap dump and thread dump.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system
• Provide management reporting and information dissemination


MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered


• A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Angular 8, Struts 1.2, Spring, Cúram 7.0.1, Hibernate
• Cúram development (CURAM V7), design and implementation that includes Cúram Rules framework, Evidence brokering, IEG and UIM, Façade layer and Modelling.
• Angular JS, Angular 8, TypeScript, React, and/or other component architecture experience.
• AWS and Devops tool suite like Octopus and Jenkins
• Atlassian JIRA
