The Opportunity
St Francis School offers an exciting opportunity for motivated co-educators to join our Learning Support team for 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the Catholic ethos of St Francis School.
Work collaboratively with teachers, co-educators and allied health professionals as part of the school's support programs.
Deliver Tier 3 intervention in literacy and numeracy.
Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs, complex behaviours and Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
Assist students with physical care requirements where required.
Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities.
Use restorative practices and processes to support positive relationships and resolve conflict situations.
Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or delegate.
About You
Have a strong understanding of child development and learning.
Demonstrate experience working collaboratively as part of a team of educators.
Have experience delivering Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions.
Build positive and supportive relationships with students, staff and families.
Be committed to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (essential).
Have completed, or be willing to complete, Continence Care training.
Be willing to undertake all required screening and compliance checks.
