Curriculum Manager – Data Science & AI | Remote (Belgium, Portugal, UK, or US)
Our client is a global EdTech platform trusted by millions of learners and thousands of companies worldwide to close the data and AI skills gap. They're growing their content team and looking for a Curriculum Manager to help shape the next generation of Data Science and AI education.
This is a 100% individual contributor role — no direct reports — working at the intersection of subject-matter expertise, instructional design, and AI-powered content production.
What you'll own:
- Manage the full content development lifecycle from scoping to deadline delivery
- Source and recruit top-tier subject-matter experts as instructors
- Collaborate with instructors to build engaging, technically accurate courses
- Use in-house and off-the-shelf AI tooling to produce high-quality content at scale
- Design, review, and create content across data science and data engineering topics
- Continuously improve courses using learner feedback and engagement data
- Identify and prioritize curriculum gaps and new topic areas
What you bring:
- Solid technical background in Python and SQL (data engineering experience a plus)
- Strong instructional design skills - you've designed, structured, and taught technical courses and built hands-on, interactive learning experiences
- A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related STEM field - or equivalent industry experience in data science, ML, or software development
- Real, demonstrable experience using agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, etc.) to meaningfully multiply your output — this isn't a "nice to have," they want to see it
Nice to have:
- An intuitive sense for what makes online technical courses genuinely great
- A network of potential subject-matter experts / instructors
- A track record of building sophisticated AI systems or workflows
Location: Full-time employment, remote-friendly - candidates must be based in Belgium, Portugal, the UK, or the US.
