Custodial Worker

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Hospital Pensacola, Dir. of Support, Housekeeping. The purpose of the position is to maintain the overall cleanliness of the hospital or clinic. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB)

Cleans hospital rooms, office spaces, storerooms, corridors and other similar areas. Vacuums, damp mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.

Vacuums and shampoos carpets and uses wet and light power system buffers and scrubbing machinery.

Cleans patient rooms and waiting areas.

Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes lavatories, urinals and toilet bowls.

Loads rubbish into carts and transports it outside the building and unloads it into commercial containers.
