Custodian (FT)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Picatinny Arsenal. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.

This position is part an AbilityOne contract. The AbilityOne Program creates private-sector jobs for Americans who have disabilities, including veterans and wounded warriors. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday. There are 2 shifts available: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 9:30AM to 5:30PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste following safety protocols.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized work area.
