Custodian

Essential:

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats.
• Sweeps, mops and disinfects floors
• Cleans all windows
• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant.
• Cleans breakroom by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the breakroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Vacuums offices and removes garbage.
• Ensures the outside break area and parking lot is clean and free from litter and debris.
• Cleans various hard-to-reach areas
• Runs the floor scrubber on cement floors throughout the facility

Additional:

• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned.

Supervision of Others:

• Does not supervisor others

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential:

• Detailed work and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow through on projects with professionalism
• Ability to prioritize and organize
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive areas.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
• Pulling stretching, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
• Manual dexterity for such duties as wiping, dusting, cleaning, etc.
• Visually read product labels, SOPs, and written instructions
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

Additional:

• Ability to climb stairs
• Work overtime as needed
