Custom Governance Coordinator
- Coordinate customs governance activities for Bosch Home Comfort (BHC) entities across Asia Pacific and act as a regional interface between BHC, country Customs Governance organizations and central C/TXE.
- Support the post-merger integration of BHC customs activities into Bosch standard processes, governance structures and internal control requirements.
- Support the identification, assessment and mitigation of customs compliance risks and coordinate follow-up measures resulting from health checks, risk assessments, audits and other governance activities.
- Drive the implementation and standardization of Bosch customs processes and controls within the BHC AP organization.
- Support tariff classification governance, including implementation of centrally determined HS codes and coordination of country-specific requirements and significant classification issues.
- Coordinate and support significant customs audits, customs authority inquiries, disputes, authorizations and other official customs measures together with the responsible local organizations.
- Monitor customs governance status, risks and remediation activities across BHC AP and provide transparency and reporting to regional and central stakeholders.
- Provide customs governance advice and training to BHC stakeholders and support awareness of Bosch customs requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between BHC organizations, local Customs Governance Managers, operational customs teams and central functions.
- Support regional customs projects and other customs governance initiatives as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in international trade, customs, supply chain, finance, law, business administration or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in customs, international trade compliance or a related field, preferably with exposure to multiple Asia-Pacific countries.
- Good knowledge of customs regulations and customs compliance processes; experience with ASEAN/AP customs environments would be advantageous.
- Experience in customs governance, risk management, internal controls, customs operations or customs audits.
- Experience in manufacturing, HVAC, automotive or another complex international supply-chain environment would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across countries, functions and organizational levels.
- Ability to coordinate activities independently in a regional and multicultural environment.
