Custom Software Engineering Lead
Summary
Leads a team to design and build a web-based application for a federal client using C/C++, Java, or Python in an Agile environment with Git and Jira.
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Custom Software Engineer (Lead) to join our team and support our client in the Northern VA area. You’ll be working side by side with our client to develop a web-based end-to-end application to support their mission, working in an Agile Software Development environment. We will need you to understand our client's production environment, evaluate the requirement(s) and work as a team lead (and member) to develop a solution to meet their mission requirement.
What you’ll need:
- 5 years of experience in software engineering/development, specifically using C/C++, Java or Python
- Experience in full stack/end-to-end software development
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Experience with Git (version control) and Jira (issue tracking)
- Formal or informal leadership experience
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in a client facing position
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and a willingness to sit for a polygraph
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
