Objective:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Care Officer to support admissions and scholarship-related enquiries for a period of six months. The role involves handling a high volume of enquiries while delivering exceptional customer service through multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage admissions and general scholarship enquiries via Salesforce (email) and Zoom Workplace (calls).
- Provide prompt, accurate, and professional responses to prospective applicants, parents, and members of the public.
- Advise on admissions procedures, requirements, timelines, and scholarship matters based on approved information and guidelines.
- Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate parties when necessary.
- Maintain high service standards while handling a high volume of enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on admissions and scholarship information to ensure accurate and consistent communication.
- Attend to walk-in enquiries when required.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
β Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer service, contact centre operations, or a related customer-facing role.
- Prior experience in a contact centre, customer service, or education environment is preferred.
- Experience handling high volumes of calls and emails in a fast-paced environment.
Key Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is highly preferred to support Mandarin-speaking callers.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle enquiries professionally and empathetically.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage high enquiry volumes efficiently.
π§ Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Comfortable using case management and communication platforms such as: Salesforce, Zoom Workplace
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
π Additional Requirements
- Applicants must not be current NUS admissions applicants, current NUS offer holders, or individuals with a reserved programme at NUS.
- Applicants who graduated from a junior college, polytechnic, or local autonomous university must have completed their studies at least 3 years ago.
