Customer Care Specialist

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our growing team.
The Customer Care Specialist will keep existing bill counts and policy premiums on the books by notifying members that their premium is due. Assist members making payments, setting up recurring payments, or getting to the sales department if they are interested in a new policy or a new level term product.
How You Will Contribute:
Mailing out reminder and lapse letters in timely from the system.
Consistently meet expectations of at least 50 outbound calls per day.
Review retention reports daily to see where numbers are and where focus needs to be.
Work through assigned tasks of unpaid accounts.
Assist on payment line to ensure these calls are taken timely for members that are ready to pay.
Work all credit card expiring tasks as well as EFT failed accounts.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of Affinity life and health plans offered.
Self-motivated to meet goals and keep bill count and premium on the books.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient PC skills and ability to learn new software programs.
Active Illinois insurance license or the ability to become licensed within 90 days of hire.
Pay Range
17.50/hr. plus commission, merit eligible. - 17.50/hr. plus commission, merit eligible. HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
