Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for pricing and orders, deepening client relationships to maximize long-term account value.
- Own pricing strategies by monitoring product costs, managing foreign-exchange considerations, and prioritizing healthy margins over sheer volume.
- Deliver dependable, hands-on service tailored to trade needs across diverse F&B sectors (including Chinese and Malay/halal segments).
- Work closely with sales support, logistics, operations, and finance to ensure timely deliveries and maintain healthy collection cycles.
- Keep customer and order records updated in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, providing regular feedback on account health and trade trends.
- Provide seamless cover for teammates' accounts during leave and support collective team goals.
- Field-based role with autonomy over daily planning
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years in account management or sales, ideally in seafood, fresh produce, or protein/foodservice distribution.
- Diploma minimum. Candidates from culinary or F&B backgrounds (e.g., chefs) with strong product intuition are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Spoken Mandarin and Chinese dialects (Hokkien or Teochew) are strongly preferred to support our primary trade customer base; familiarity with Malay/halal F&B trade is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comfortable with early morning starts, field visits, cold-room environments, and fishery port conditions with hands-on product handling
