Customer Marketing Intern (Winter/January 2027, 8 Months)
Who we are:
Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! We’re seeking a Customer Marketing Intern to support our team across the full customer lifecycle. If you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated university student who has completed 3–4 years of post-secondary education and is eager to gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing. You’ll work closely with our Customer Marketing Team on programs that span onboarding and adoption, engagement and retention, expansion, and advocacy — helping customers get more value from Geotab at every stage of their journey.
The opportunity:
- 8 month work-term beginning January 2027.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Customer Program Execution: Support day-to-day execution of customer marketing programs across the full post-sale lifecycle — including onboarding communications, adoption campaigns, retention initiatives, and expansion plays. Collaborate cross-functionally to keep projects on track and deliverables moving.
- Customer Advocacy & Content Development: Contribute to our customer advocacy program by supporting case study development, peer reviews, and helping bring customer stories to life for use across channels and campaigns.
- Customer Insights & Segmentation Research: Conduct research on customers, industry trends, and behavioral signals to support targeted marketing programs. Help synthesize data from platforms like 6Sense, Pendo, and LinkedIn into actionable insights that inform lifecycle stage and segment strategies.
- Project & Budget Coordination: Support team operations by tracking project timelines, coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing shared resources, and assisting with day-to-day budget tracking and invoice management.
- Event & Customer Experience Support: Assist in coordinating customer-facing events, webinars, roadshows, and roundtables — including pre-event communications, logistics coordination, collateral preparation, and post-event reporting and follow-up.
- Performance Reporting & Analytics: Help compile and maintain regular and ad hoc performance reports, pulling data from marketing platforms to track program impact across the customer lifecycle and surface insights for the team.
- Operational Support: Assist in building process documentation, organizing shared drives, and maintaining key marketing calendars and workflows.
- Special Projects: Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to customer lifecycle, expansion programs, and account-based marketing as the team's needs evolve.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Experience with marketing or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, 6Sense, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pendo) is a plus.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
