About the Role

As a Customer Payments Automation Specialist, you will work closely with the Customer payments team to enhance our payment allocation systems. You will be the go-to expert for our automation tools, ensuring they are configured for maximum benefit and compliance.

What You Will Do

  • Become the expert for assigned systems and tools, implementing and configuring them for maximum benefit.

  • Participate in ensuring payments are correctly allocated to the appropriate customer accounts.

  • Maintain quality in payment allocation automation processes.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures, guidelines, and laws.

  • Support issues related to automation.

  • Measure, analyze, and follow up on KPIs, proposing corrective actions as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions for tools and processes.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in projects and process reference groups, deploying innovative technologies and ways of working.

  • Work with other teams to ensure actions related to automated systems align with global processes.

  • Create communication materials for stakeholders and provide training support.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in relevant areas such as Accounting, Payment Allocation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or IT systems automation.

  • Experience with Power Automate is a plus.

  • SAP knowledge.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • You adapt easily to new systems and methods.

  • You are a strong team player with proven collaboration skills.

  • You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to train team members effectively and foster automation topics within the team.

  • You are proactive in suggesting innovative solutions and identifying improvements.

  • You are flexible and adaptable, able to manage unexpected issues efficiently

  • Fluency in English.
