Position: Customer Service Associate – Critical Products Location: Cary, Illinois

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for engineering excellence. Our high-performance magnetic components serve customers across telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to support our Critical Products group. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring orders, quotes, and returns are processed accurately while delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.

About the Role and Your Impact

  • Process customer orders, quotes, returns, and related transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to customer questions and resolve issues professionally and courteously
  • Communicate daily with customers and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Perform required customer verifications and maintain accurate records
  • Escalate customer concerns when appropriate to ensure prompt resolution
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting individual and team performance goals
  • Present a professional image in all interactions with customers and vendors
  • Support a collaborative, customer-focused team environment

Who We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments
  • Professional, diplomatic approach to resolving customer concerns

Preferred Skills

  • Manufacturing or industrial customer service experience
  • Experience processing orders, quotes, or returns
  • ERP or order management system experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
