Customer Service Associate

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, offering a friendly and professional service. Your role is crucial in maintaining positive relationships and ensuring a smooth collections process. You will be part of a dynamic team, working collaboratively to achieve goals and provide an excellent standard of service.
  • Greet and assist customers via phone, email, and live chat, offering prompt and accurate support.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a timely resolution.
  • Process and manage customer accounts, including updating records and maintaining accurate information.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to ensure efficient debt recovery and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on their account status and any relevant collection progress.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or concerns to the appropriate team members for further action.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by offering personalized and tailored support.
  • Stay updated with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide accurate information.
  • Assist in data entry and ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer data.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the department.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education in customer service or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a collections or debt recovery environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with CRM or collections software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of customer interactions efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
