Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate provides excellent customer service and cash handling skills. This position reviews all activities associated with handling customer transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every shopper in our store.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent customer service in all areas of the store
- Maintain a neat and clean cashier center area and sales floor
- Maintain correct change for all registers
- Ensure correct pricing is entered into the POS system
- Ensure all customers are greeted and get assistance as needed
- Ensure all registers balance at the end of each shift
- Handle customer issues as they arise
- Complete all types of sales transactions
- Complete and input markdowns - percent and price override
- Recognize counterfeit currency
- Handle and control voids, returns, cash and credit card transactions, store credits, and special orders
- Place sold tickets on merchandise for pick up - same day and 48-hour holds
- Perform other duties as assigned
