Customer Service/Collector
Are you great with people and motivated by results? AscensionPoint Recovery Services offers a specialized type of collections work focused on resolving accounts after someone has passed away. Our collectors communicate with family members, personal representatives, and attorneys to understand an estate's circumstances, gather information, and work toward appropriate payment resolutions.
Pay ranging $18-21/hr (based off of experience) with uncapped monthly bonus earning potential. We have two schedules to choose from including a day shift 8-5 or pick a schedule with early out on Fridays! This position is onsite at our St Louis Park, MN or Coon Rapids, MN office.
What You Will Do
- Contact family members, personal representatives, attorneys, and other appropriate parties regarding estate accounts.
- Use a customer-service approach to gather information, understand the estate's circumstances, and identify appropriate next steps.
- Discuss balances and negotiate payment arrangements or resolutions within established guidelines and authority.
- Document conversations and account information accurately and consistently.
- Manage follow-up work and assigned accounts to meet performance, quality, and compliance expectations.
- Use good judgment when navigating sensitive or emotionally difficult conversations.

To be considered for this position, you must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to successfully complete a comprehensive credit and criminal background check which includes a drug test to be completed within 48 hours of the request.
