Customer Service Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Provide customer service through in-person and telephone interactions, assisting with enquiries, purchases, and general transactions.
- Handle membership registrations and respond to membership-related enquiries.
- Process sales transactions accurately and issue invoices at the service counter.
- Attend to customer and member enquiries, feedback, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist members / customers with self-collection orders.
- Coordinate and follow up with customers and the Service Centre on the end-to-end return and repair process for faulty product (Equipment).
- Perform daily stock counts at the beginning and end of each day to ensure physical inventory matches system records.
- Perform investigation in event of any stock discrepancies.
- Receive incoming stock, verify quantities against delivery documents, and replenish inventory by organising products on designated shelves.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned, including providing operational support for off-site events and activities.
- Work on a shift roster, including weekends, based on operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of working experience in any industry. Customer service or retail experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin ; to liaise and effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking members and customers.
- Computer literate and comfortable using point-of-sale systems.
- Willing to work on a shift schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, willing to learn, and receptive to coaching and on-the-job training.
