Customer Service Officer (Logistics)

Job Description

-To assist logistics Manager / Controller with documentation and shipping arrangements.

- Handle FCL for import/export processing.

- Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that they are complywith import/ export rules and regulation.

- Manage daily operations and respond to customer inquiries and requests

- Process inquiries and send booking confirmations to customers

- Liaise and follow up with customers, freight forwarders, carriers,transporters and warehouses.

- Liaises with shipping company, customs official, Jurong Port authorities,PSA authorities, transport contractors, and customer to ensure on- timedelivery

- Track shipment status to ensure on- time delivery

- Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

- Able to multi-task, prioritize and time management

- Detail- oriented, positive attitude and willing to learn

-Able to work in 5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturday afterprobation)

- Prefer 1-2 years experience in Customer ServiceOfficer (Logistics)
