Position Summary
BB Americas Bank is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Aventura Branch to support daily branch operations while delivering exceptional service to both personal and business banking clients. This role is responsible for processing transactions, opening accounts, promoting bank products and services, maintaining compliance with banking regulations, and contributing to branch sales and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service while processing banking transactions and account services.
- Accurately perform teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan and credit card payments, and cashier’s checks.
- Balance cash drawers (TCR), branch vaults, and complete required teller, accounting, and compliance documentation.
- Assist customers with account maintenance, debit card orders, credit card applications, and other banking services.
- Open and service personal and business accounts while meeting sales, referral, and cross-selling goals.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through outreach activities, calls, and community events.
- Process foreign currency transactions and assist with ATM replenishment and audits.
- Complete required compliance reporting, including CTRs and SARs when applicable.
- Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, security standards, and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML, CDD, and EDD.
- Support branch opening and closing procedures, audits, training initiatives, and overall team success.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of recent banking or customer service representative experience required.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, teller operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong customer service, communication, sales, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, maintain accuracy, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Bilingual English and Portuguese highly preferred; Spanish is a plus.
- Experience opening consumer and business accounts.
- Familiarity with banking compliance requirements and operational procedures.
