Customer Service Advisor

Batley | £26,000 - £27,000 + Bonus | Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm ( optional overtime available)

Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor with a background in the beds and mattress industry? Do you enjoy resolving customer queries, delivering exceptional service and working as part of a friendly, supportive team?

We're recruiting for an established and growing business in Batley looking to strengthen its customer service team with an experienced, customer-focused professional.

This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role offering excellent work-life balance with no evenings or weekends, alongside the opportunity to earn an additional yearly bonuses of £5000

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries across telephone, email and online channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound customer calls, emails and online enquiries
• Providing pre-sales support and product information
• Managing order queries and delivery updates
• Investigating and resolving customer complaints
• Liaising with internal departments and third-party suppliers
• Coordinating with couriers and logistics partners
• Maintaining accurate customer records and system updates
• Supporting the wider team with administration and after-sales service

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• Recent customer service experience within the beds, mattresses or sleep products industry, and/or
• Strong experience using Zendesk or other CRM systems within a customer service environment
• Experience handling high volumes of customer enquiries by phone and email
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and good IT skills
• A professional, approachable and solution-focused manner
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage customer expectations effectively

Previous experience within e-commerce, retail operations, furnishings, interiors or home products would also be beneficial.
