Customer Service Representative (French)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading European e-commerce distributor specialising in products for babies, children and the home that is seeking to onboard a Customer Service Advisor to join their team.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Braga, Portugal

Work model: On-site, 100%

Employment type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle customer enquiries via phone regarding order status and tracking

• Provide accurate and timely updates on orders and deliveries

• Assist customers with delivery times, shipping queries and order delays

• Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner

• Provide support regarding product availability and inventory-related enquiries

• Assist customers with order changes, cancellations, returns and exchanges in line with established procedures

• Liaise with internal teams and logistics partners to follow up on customer requests and resolve issues efficiently

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native / fluent in French both verbal and written. Fluent in English (minimum B2 level)

• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset

• Previous experience in a contact center or customer service environment preferred

• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Monday to Saturday: 08 AM - 5 PM + 2 days off (Sunday and 1 rotational day)
