Customer Service Representative (German)
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a German-speaking Customer Service Representative to join their teams in Porto.
Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Porto, Portugal
Work model: On-site
Employment type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide customer support via email, live chat and phone
Assist customers with enquiries related to the company's products and services
Resolve customer issues efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service
Troubleshoot basic product-related enquiries and escalate complex cases when required
Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions in internal systems
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requests
Meet quality, productivity and service level targets
Stay up to date with product knowledge, internal procedures and support processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Native or fluent German, both written and spoken (C2)
Good command of English (minimum B2)
Previous customer service or contact centre experience is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused with a professional and solution-oriented approach
Good computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple enquiries
Available to work rotational shifts, with future flexibility for a 24/7 schedule if required.
