Customer Service Representative
Location: Northwest Atlanta Area
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $40,000–$42,000 annually
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing distributor serving the HVAC, building automation, and industrial markets, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Customer Service Representative will assist customers with orders, product questions, shipment information, and other day-to-day service needs while working closely with sales and warehouse teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person
- Enter and process customer orders accurately using an ERP/order management system
- Assist customers with product questions and order-related needs
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track orders and shipments and communicate updates to customers
- Process returns and assist with problem resolution
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Assist walk-in customers with orders and product needs
- Help identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience
Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service, call center, or inside sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience working with ERP, order entry, or similar business systems
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- HVAC, electrical, industrial, or technical product experience
- Distribution or supply chain industry experience
- Salesforce experience
