This customer-focused role supports individuals with account questions, payments, and issue resolution.
You will handle both inbound and outbound calls while providing accurate, professional, and empathetic assistance.

Accountabilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding account balances, payments, and account-related questions.
  • Clearly and professionally explain balances, payment information, available options, and applicable support programs.
  • Establish payment arrangements and process customer transactions accurately over the phone.
  • Document customer interactions accurately while navigating multiple applications and systems simultaneously.
  • Follow established workflows, scripts, policies, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Meet established performance expectations related to productivity, quality, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in identifying available financial assistance or support programs when appropriate.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate account information and collaborate with internal teams to support effective account management.
  • Protect customer information by maintaining a private, secure workspace and following applicable privacy and security practices.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and service quality.
  • Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center operations, healthcare support, administration, or a similar office-based environment.
    • At least 1 year of experience working in a work-from-home environment.
    • Demonstrated reliability, consistent attendance, stable work history, and commitment to meeting performance expectations.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with established productivity or quality targets.
    • Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other standard business applications.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain account information clearly and professionally.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and service standards in a home-based environment.
    • Ability to maintain a private and secure workspace and meet required internet connectivity standards.
    • Previous call center experience is preferred.
    • Experience in healthcare customer service, medical billing, insurance, banking, collections, or other account-based customer support is a plus.
    • Experience managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with performance metrics such as quality, productivity, attendance, and customer satisfaction is preferred.
    • Experience with CRM, patient-account, billing, or electronic health record systems is beneficial.
    • Experience resolving escalated customer issues while maintaining professionalism is a plus.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
    • Candidates residing in New York are not eligible for this opportunity.
