Customer Service Representative
We are seeking motivated Customer Service Representatives to join a growing consumer support team for a leading manufacturer in the residential hardware and smart home industry. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and learning technical products in a fast-paced environment.
You will provide support to consumers regarding installation, troubleshooting, product features, and general product information involving smart locks and access control products.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound customer calls and emails.
- Troubleshoot product issues and provide technical support to consumers.
- Assist customers with installation instructions, product operation, and feature questions.
- Accurately document customer interactions and case details in company systems.
- Evaluate reported product issues and determine appropriate resolution options.
- Maintain professionalism and empathy when assisting customers in challenging situations.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting performance expectations.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service experience.
- Previous customer support, call center, or product support experience.
- Comfortable handling high-volume inbound calls.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
