Customer Experience Agent

Schedule: First Shift | 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Environment: Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Experience Agent to join a fast-paced support team. This role is responsible for assisting customers via phone, email, and chat while providing accurate account information, resolving inquiries, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, previous customer service experience, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Provide accurate account, program, and product information
  • Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records
  • Complete customer request forms and follow-up activities
  • Conduct outbound outreach to previous customers when needed
  • Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently and accurately
  • Meet established service, quality, and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure an excellent customer experience

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Call center experience
  • Experience providing support through chat and email channels
  • Financial services, banking, lending, or tax-related experience
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Bilingual skills

Candidates with experience in banking, retail leadership, account services, or other customer-facing professional roles are strongly encouraged to apply.

Training & Schedule Expectations

  • Initial training lasts 2 weeks and includes a 1-hour lunch break
  • After training, lunch transitions to 30 minutes
  • Attendance during training is critical; missed time may require restarting the training program
  • While this position is hired for a first-shift schedule, candidates must be flexible during peak business periods
  • Overtime opportunities are available, particularly during the peak season

September - November 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Decembe r8:45 AM - 6:00 PM

January - March 8:45 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturdays (January - March)11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
