Join the team on a fixed term full-time contract at Waitomo Glowworm Caves, one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most iconic visitor attractions, and help welcome manuhiri (visitors) from around the world during our busy peak season.

Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) is the world's leading provider of holiday vehicles for rent and sale, operating under various brands across Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and the UK. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be one of the first faces our guests meet. You'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding visitor experiences through warm hospitality, efficient bookings and admissions, and a genuine commitment to the values that make Waitomo Glowworm Caves unique.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to visitors from New Zealand and around the globe
Welcoming guests and sharing information about our tours, facilities, and local attractions
Processing bookings, ticket sales, payments, amendments, and cancellations
Responding to customer enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Assisting with visitor flow and admissions during busy periods
Supporting daily front-of-house operations and maintaining accurate records
Working collaboratively with guiding and operational teams
Following Health, Safety, and Wellbeing requirements to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members

What we're looking for

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
Confidence handling cash and payment transactions
Good attention to detail and computer skills
Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts throughout the peak season

Bonus points if you have

Experience using booking or reservation systems
Tourism, visitor attraction, or hospitality industry experience
An understanding or appreciation of Te Ao Māori and tikanga Māori
Additional language skills
