Job Details
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Accurately enter and process customer orders received through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Manage and coordinate rush orders to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships by providing outstanding customer service.
- Support the sales team by addressing customer requests and facilitating solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service Manager regarding customer needs and order status.
- Develop a thorough understanding of production capabilities, lead times, and scheduling requirements.
- Prepare and provide cost estimates based on customer specifications and requests.
- Collaborate with fellow Customer Service Representatives to ensure seamless customer support and workload coverage.
- Obtain supplier quotations, process purchase orders, and coordinate vendor communications as needed.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency with computer systems and order-entry processes.
- Corrugated packaging industry experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting wage is $22-$26/hr depending on experience. Office hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
