TYR Tactical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Peoria, AZ. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for our customers, assisting with order placement, order updates, product inquiries, and overall customer support. You'll work closely with our outside sales team and internal departments to ensure every customer receives accurate, timely, and professional service.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing accurate product information and order support
• Assist with local walk-in customers or appointments. This will entail hands-on experience with product and proper fitment to the customer.
• Process orders, order modifications, and related forms in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TYR's full product line to answer questions and make informed recommendations
• Coordinate with outside sales representatives to keep customer accounts and orders aligned
• Track and follow up on open orders, backorders, and customer requests to keep things moving
• Maintain a professional, solutions-focused tone with customers and coworkers, including in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales support, order management, or a related office environment preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently while remaining a strong team player.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building positive customer relationships.

Working Environment: This position is based in our office environment, providing a professional setting for customer interactions and collaboration with team members.

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Peoria, AZ facility (9330 N 91st Ave. Peoria, AZ 85345), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This role is not remote or hybrid.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily a desk-based, office role. Employees are regularly required to sit, stand, and move about the office, and occasionally to lift or carry materials up 45 Lbs.
