What you will be doing
- Coordinate and help execute day-to-day activities for the Customer Service Team, including order entry, answering technical phone calls, and fielding sales representative questions
- Coordinate requests for time off to ensure coverage of phones and order entry for the team
- Assist CS Manager with strategy for short- and long-term goals
- Create and maintain accountability metrics and systems for Customer Service team
- Understand, use, and recommend improvements for all CS systems, including ERP (currently Business Central), CRM (currently Salesforce), phone system, EDI clients, and any other relevant systems
- Problem solve and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive improvements and efficiencies of Customer Service and the systems they use
- Verify and audit timecards in accordance with company and team policies and to ensure accuracy
- Monitor stock status and shipping schedules with Production and Shipping
- Coordinate, facilitate and cross train team members to ensure a flexible and knowledgeable work team. Coordinate training for new team members and refresher courses for veteran team members to meet ongoing organizational needs
- Coordinate and maintain accountability for team members’ training and career paths
- Ability to work in and around chemicals; including but not limited to latex, biocides like Prevental D and Tinuvin 292, Lipase, and Fungicides. Some chemical reactions may happen.
