Customer Success Specialist 1
Summary:
The Customer Success Specialist (CSS) is part of the Inside Sales team and plays a critical role in the Sales process, supporting an entire Street Sales region (5-8 Regional Sales Managers (RSM) per region). Each Inside Sales team member (CSS) focuses on conducting pre-sales activities with leads from a wide variety of channels, resulting in providing qualified leads with business potential with the Street Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualification activities for new leads coming in from sources that include but are not limited to social media, trade shows, and website inquiries
- Research all leads prior to reaching out, including internet research and reviewing any existing information in our customer relationship management (CRM) system (Salesforce)
- Qualify lead prospects through phone call and email communication, adding relevant and qualifying detail in Salesforce
- Present the benefits of our cooking systems (iCombi Pro, iVario Pro, iHexagon) to each lead to identify potential equipment solutions for their business operations
- This includes conducting online regular presentations using pre-recorded videos; events are promoted via social media and on our website
- Presentations may be 1:1 or to a small group of leads
- Collaborate with our Street Sales team by:
- Conducting regional calling campaigns to support RSMs initiatives; based on recommendations from Street team and Salesforce research
- Placing qualified individuals into our RATIONAL Live in-person cooking demonstrations;
- Scheduling visits with qualified individuals on behalf of our Regional Sales Managers;
- Maintaining and updating CRM records in collaboration with other teams
- Support on general marketing department tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Food Industry: 5+ years of kitchen experience: Chef and/or Supervising Kitchen Operation – Catering and hospitality Industry experience preferred
- Experienced with troubleshooting by phone/e-mail/Microsoft Teams or similar required
- Cold Calling experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is an advantage
- CRM Experience: Salesforce preferred
Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $60,000 - $64,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications and may vary by geographical location. Compensation for this position also includes a bonus.
