Customer Support Technician (Czech/Slovak)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit Czech/Slovak speaking Customer Support Technician to support customers of gaming platform for their office in Budapest.

Position: Customer Support Representative

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary + performance bonuses (after 3rd month of employment).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle incoming customer contacts and respond to product, service and pre- and post-sale enquiries

  • Provide customer support and troubleshooting for gaming products, software and connectivity issues

  • Resolve customer complaints by taking ownership of each case and ensuring appropriate follow-up

  • Gather required information and accurately document customer interactions in internal systems

  • Provide clear and easy-to-understand explanations of technical information and product features

  • Ensure all customer interactions comply with quality standards, consumer safety regulations, GDPR and internal procedures

  • Escalate potential product safety, regulatory and other important issues through defined channels

  • Act as a brand advocate by delivering excellent customer service and promoting products, features, benefits and associated services where appropriate

  • Log customer interactions and manage knowledge base information according to established procedures

  • Participate in required training, calibration and quality sessions

  • Share recurring customer issues, process gaps and improvement opportunities with Team Managers or Leads

  • Meet defined performance, quality and behavioural targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Czech/Slovak language at B2/C1 level and English B2 level

  • Secondary or higher education

  • Strong interest and aptitude in consumer electronics and gaming technology

  • Ability to understand and explain connectivity, tuning and technical product details in a simple and clear way

  • Basic knowledge of consumer products, software and PC connectivity issues

  • Previous experience in customer service, consumer care or a contact centre is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook

  • Good computer literacy and ability to capture data accurately

  • Strong customer orientation, empathy and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to recognise sales opportunities and promote relevant products, features and services

  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and busy contact centre environment

  • Comfortable working towards performance targets and having customer interactions monitored

  • Professional, reliable and proactive approach

  • Willingness to take personal initiative for technical and professional development

  • Ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential company information.
