Customs Analyst

We are creating a new global Customs organization with the ambition of implementing a well-defined, standardized, and future-ready Customs operating model across all regions.
Our objective is to drive excellence in customs compliance, enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and maximize opportunities through free trade agreements and customs cost optimization.

We are now looking for a professional Customs Analyst who will

  • Operate the customs management solution daily for imports and exports
  • Monitor and resolve system interface issues
  • Support customs operations across multiple markets
  • Review shipment readiness, validating customs data and coordinating with brokers to ensure timely customs clearance

You will collaborate directly with regional and local customs teams to drive consistency, support operational excellence, and ensure effective execution of customs activities.

The location for this position is Budaörs ,Hungary.

What you will do

As Customs Analyst, you will:

  • Receive, review, and upload import and export supporting documentation into the customs management system, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Validate shipment data and confirm that all required commercial, logistical, and customs information is available before transmitting files to customs brokers.
  • Monitor interfaces and electronic data transmissions from the customs module to brokers, identifying and resolving transmission failures.
  • Perform data quality checks on customs declarations, master data, product classifications, and trade compliance attributes before submission
  • Coordinate with customs brokers to resolve transaction-related issues, missing documentation, rejected filings, and data discrepancies.
  • Support countries and business units during customs solution implementations, including testing, user support, issue tracking, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Track customs transaction status and clearance progress, ensuring timely follow-up on exceptions and escalating critical issues when necessary

We believe you have

  • Proven experience in a similar role, such as Customs Broker
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field is preferred
