Customs and Trade Manager

As Customs and Trade Expert you will work with people across our organization committed to bringing growth to stow, solve issues and actively look for opportunities to improve.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Provide internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers with expert advice on complex customs and trade matters.
• Create innovative yet pragmatic solutions tailored to the company’s specific needs, from quotation to fulfillment.
• Act as a thought partner to our sales teams for export countries, supporting the development of projects.
• Guide our logistics and finance teams to ensure correct and compliant fulfillment of orders.
• Stay up to date with market developments.
• Extend your expertise through continuing education and seminars.
• Design and administer training to educate our sales force, finance teams and logistics teams and improve our export capabilities.
• Dotted line to Customs & Trade Coordinator and take over the tasks of this colleague in case of absence.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Ability to quickly react to queries.
• Clear communication skills, synthesizing complex matters into comprehensible material.
• Demonstrate unwavering maturity and professionalism in complex and stressful situations.
• Fluency in English. French and/or Dutch will be an added advantage
